According to НАЗК: It turns out that one of the reasons why corruption reports remain unaddressed is the lack of specific facts. Legislation stipulates that the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAZK) checks all such reports, but without substantiated data, this verification cannot be carried out.

In particular, inadequate descriptions of real estate without specific data regarding the property are not subject to verification. In order to initiate a verification, factual data that allows checking declarations, asset accounting, and identification of conflicts of interest are required.

Important data in real estate reports

  • Property address
  • Cadastral number or registration number
  • Other data on property use

If you want to report cases of corruption, it is important to present specific factual data that will substantiate illegal enrichment. Information from property valuation websites may be useful for assessment, but for verifying property value, NAZK only uses official registers.

Specify not only what is happening but also draw a conclusion. For example, emphasize that all users submitting corruption reports are expected to provide substantiated facts and data for effective verification and further action by the authorities.
