Lions from Khmelnytskyi are being evacuated to Africa: how the animals were rescued

Two lions that escaped from a zoo corner in Khmelnytskyi will soon be evacuated to a rehabilitation center in the Republic of South Africa. The animals have already been removed and delivered to Kyiv, where they will receive the necessary medical attention before being sent abroad.
Within the framework of the investigation, it was also revealed that the owner of the zoo corner kept the lions in horrendous conditions and without proper documentation. He has been charged with animal cruelty. However, one of the escapees has already been found and rescued.
