As is known, as a result of the strikes, there are power outages on four sections of 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
Activation of strikes from Russia
Recall that the Russian Federation has been increasing strikes on Ukraine's railway infrastructure since mid-summer, attacking it with an average of six to seven 'Shaheds' almost every night. The attacks, which have affected dozens of substations, are linked to a sharp increase in the number of long-range drones produced by the Russian military-industrial complex.
The attacks do not specifically target military cargo.
Their primary goal is to sow panic among passengers, and their secondary goal is to strike at the economy as a whole
, says the chairman of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' Oleksandr Pertsovskyi.
As the chairman of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' noted, the Russians are acting systematically, disabling one substation after another or key railway nodes to stop passenger trains.
By the way, as a result of a recent enemy shelling and damage to the infrastructure in the Kirovohrad region, several trains were delayed.
Several sections of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' found themselves without power as a result of hostile attacks, which caused delays in train movements. The Russian Federation has intensified strikes on Ukraine's railway infrastructure, causing damage to both passenger traffic and the country's economy. Ukrainian railways are becoming targets of systematic attacks aimed at sowing panic and harming the country as a whole.
