Russian losses in Ukraine have crossed the threshold: over 1.1 million invaders eliminated

According to glavcom.ua: As of Tuesday morning, September 16, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of the Russian invaders again.

As part of the war with Ukraine, Russia has lost as of September 16:

• personnel - about 1,096,430 individuals,
• tanks - 11,184 units,
• armored fighting vehicles - 23,274 units,
• artillery systems - 32,810 units,
• multiple launch rocket systems - 1,490 units,
• air defense systems - 1,217 units,
• airplanes - 422 units,
• helicopters - 341 units,
• operational-tactical UAVs - 59,719 units,
• cruise missiles - 3,718 units,
• ships/boats - 28 units,
• submarines - 1 unit,
• automotive and fuel tank vehicles - 61,770 units,
• special equipment - 3,965 units.

It is the 1,301st day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

The number of losses updated by the General Staff indicates heavy and significant losses of the invading army during the war in Ukraine. Unable to keep up with the Ukrainian army, the Russian troops continue to suffer large losses on all fronts.
