According to Главком: The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has released its latest figures on Russian military losses, current as of March 4, 2026. This date marks the 1,470th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, which began with Russia's invasion on February 24, 2022. The conflict has become the largest land war in Europe since World War II.

According to the report, Russia's total personnel losses have reached approximately 1,269,500. In the latest reporting period, an additional 980 personnel were reported lost. The Ukrainian military also claims the destruction of significant amounts of Russian equipment, including:

  • 11,723 tanks (+5)
  • 24,135 armored combat vehicles (+4)
  • 37,874 artillery systems (+32)
  • 1,667 multiple launch rocket systems (+2)

The data indicates that Russia's inventory of air defense systems stands at 1,319, while the counts for aircraft and helicopters remain unchanged at 435 and 348 units, respectively.
