According to updated information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of August 31, 2025, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses.
According to glavcom.ua: In particular, during this period, Russia lost:
- personnel - about 1,082,140 (+810) people;
- tanks - 11,151 (+2) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 23,212 (+2) units;
- artillery systems - 32,199 (+27) units;
- MLRS - 1,476 (+0) units;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,213 (+0) units;
- airplanes - 422 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 340 (+0) units;
- tactical drones - 55,062 (+371) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,664 (+38) units;
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
- automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 60,305 (+83) units;
- special equipment - 3,952 (+0) units.
It is worth noting that the full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for 1,285 days.
The number of casualties in the Russian military in the war in eastern Ukraine continues to rise. As of August 31, 2025, there were significant losses for Russia in both personnel and equipment. This data indicates that the conflict is ongoing, and Ukraine's defense successfully resists the aggressor.
