According to glavcom.ua: New information about the losses of the Russian troops in the conflict was presented by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 9, 2025.

As of September 9, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses:

• personnel - about 1,090,010 (+950) people;
• tanks - 11,169 (+1) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 23,261 (+3) units;
• artillery systems - 32,577 (+32) units;
• MLRS - 1,482 (+1) units;
• air defense systems - 1,217 (+0) units;
• aircraft - 422 (+0) units;
• helicopters - 341 (+0) units;
• operational-tactical UAVs - 57,504 (+226) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,691 (+0) units;
• ships/boats - 28 (+0) units;
• submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
• vehicles and tankers - 61,207 (+72) units;
• special equipment - 3,963 (+2) units.

It should be noted that this is the 1294th day of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
