Introducing YASNO Power EMS

According to НВ — Техно: On June 16, YASNO launched its new digital management system, YASNO Power EMS, designed for commercial solar power plants and energy storage installations. The platform enables real-time monitoring and automated control of equipment by analyzing consumption patterns, generation, energy storage, and market conditions. The technical setup includes the YASNO Power controller and a digital platform that integrates with hardware from various manufacturers.

YASNO Power EMS shows how much electricity the solar plant produces, how much the facility consumes, and how the battery is charging or discharging. It can automatically control equipment based on predefined scenarios, optimizing performance. According to YASNO CEO Serhiy Kovalenko,

“For businesses, having their own generation and energy storage systems is no longer just a backup-it's become part of their economic model.”

He also stressed that customers need data to identify inefficiencies and uncover optimization opportunities.

System Features and Support

YASNO Power EMS was built with the specifics of the Ukrainian energy market in mind and includes Ukrainian localization. A dedicated team of energy specialists, engineers, traders, and developers works on its ongoing development and support. The system is part of the larger YASNO Power ecosystem, which includes services for designing, building, and maintaining solar plants, buying back excess generation, and managing electricity price arbitrage.

YASNO plans to install the system free of charge for customers who build solar stations or storage systems with the company, and also offer YASNO Power EMS as a standalone product for businesses that already own solar panels or batteries. YASNO CMO Serhiy Radchenko noted,

“YASNO Power as a whole, and EMS in particular, are key growth areas for the company,”

adding that the system provides customers with a simple interface for controlling and automating equipment based on core operational scenarios.

The system’s functionality is constantly expanding, with the company’s main focus on creating scenarios and services that help customers further monetize their energy equipment-by improving efficiency or using idle capacity during downtime.

Implementing YASNO Power EMS could significantly improve energy resource management for businesses in Ukraine, especially amid energy market volatility. The system not only automates processes but also provides users with analytical data to support strategic decision-making. As renewable energy technologies advance rapidly, such solutions are becoming increasingly vital for achieving energy independence and operational efficiency.
