He was 21 years old at the time of his death. Born on May 23, 2003, in the city of Kakhovka, Kherson region, his life was cut short while serving his country.

Karpenko graduated from the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi National University of Mykolaiv in July 2023 with a degree in Psychology, after which he worked at an Inclusive Resource Center. When the full-scale invasion began, he relocated with his family to the Odesa region and volunteered to fight on the front lines. He served in the 35th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy, operating drones as a UAV specialist.

Vladyslav's Legacy

In addition to his military service, Karpenko ran a YouTube channel called Riot Assault, where he reviewed video games. His mother, Natalia, remembers him with these words:

“Incredibly calm, balanced, and thoughtful. He always found the right words of support and help. He was demanding of himself and others, everything had to be fair. He dreamed of liberating his native land and home from occupation so that his family could return to their loved ones.”

Vladyslav Karpenko is survived by his parents. He was laid to rest at the Western Cemetery in the city of Odesa.
