Giorgio Armani's Will: Who Will Inherit the Billion-Dollar Empire
Giorgio Armani has left two wills revealing the distribution of his assets. The main asset – the Giorgio Armani fashion empire – will be transferred to the eponymous foundation he established 10 years ago. The business will be managed and the income will be received by Pantaleo Dell'Orco, Armani's partner, and two of the designer's nephews. The total value of the assets is estimated at over 13 billion euros. The will also mentions other properties, including a mansion in Milan and other designer assets.
"It was previously reported that designer Giorgio Armani secretly left two wills, drafted this year. According to the agency, they were opened by a notary on September 9, but their contents are not disclosed. According to ANSA, Armani personally wrote and sealed the wills. One on March 15 of this year, the other on April 5. The existence of the wills was known before his death."
Unfortunately, Giorgio Armani passed away at the age of 91, leaving his assets to the head of the foundation, his partner, and several relatives. Thus, the fate of his firm and other assets is distributed according to his wishes.
