The Ministry of Development launched Transport Data Hub: how data will change Ukrainian transport

According to Кулеба: The Ministry of Development has launched a new platform, Transport Data Hub, for data analysis in the field of transport, mobility, and logistics. This is an important step, as planning in this sector had previously been conducted without a complete picture of actual movements.

Transport Data Hub provides a single analytical basis upon which the government, communities, and businesses can rely in their work. The first products of the platform include a dashboard for citizens' mobility abroad, a dashboard for international bus routes, and research on the economic effect of the reform of international bus transportation.

These tools are already being used by central authorities, local governments, and carriers to adjust routes and plan projects based on real data. Special emphasis is placed on communities that have the opportunity to improve transport connectivity.

Scaling and supporting the project

The scaling of Transport Data Hub is planned through the integration of new data sources, analytical tools, and products for various transport sectors. This will be the basis for forecasting, planning, and controlling changes in the industry.

Thanks for the support of the initiative has been expressed to the government of the United Kingdom, the British Embassy Kyiv, and the UK DIGIT project. Collaboration with them will allow the implementation of modern approaches to transport management and move towards EU standards in practice.

Transport Data Hub is a new platform for data analysis in the transport sector that will enhance planning and management of transport services by providing access to real data for solving transport issues.
