Salaries in Kharkiv have increased by 20%: who is offered up to 65 thousand in autumn 2026

The average salary in job vacancies in Kharkiv in September 2026 is 27 thousand hryvnias — a 20% increase compared to a year ago. The highest pay is offered to international truck drivers, while salaries for call center operators are growing fastest. Average salary in Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine

The median was calculated based on 6.9 thousand vacancies posted in Kharkiv over the last three months. By this indicator, the city ranked sixth among Ukrainian cities.

The highest salaries were recorded in Kyiv — 37.5 thousand hryvnias, Lviv — 32.5 thousand, Uzhhorod — 30.5 thousand, Dnipro and Odesa — 30 thousand each. The lowest figures among the mentioned cities were found in Kherson and Sumy, at 22.5 thousand hryvnias each. In some cities, the figure was close to that of Kharkiv: for example, in Zhytomyr — 26 thousand, in Lutsk — 26.5 thousand.

The average figure does not mean that every employee receives this amount: salary depends on the position, experience, and specific conditions of the vacancy. In other regions of Ukraine, there is also a demand for practical professions, which is evident from the data on salaries for working professions.

Which specialists in Kharkiv earn the most

The largest annual increase in salaries in the city was recorded for call center operators — 63%. For lawyers and painters, pay increased by 40%, for electricians — by 38%, and for design engineers — by 36%.

The highest salary among specific positions is offered to international truck drivers — 65 thousand hryvnias per month. Real estate sales managers are indicated to earn 55 thousand, auto mechanics — 42.5 thousand. Sales representatives and department heads can earn 40 thousand.

The list of positions with offerings of 37.5 thousand hryvnias includes couriers, project managers, chief accountants, design engineers, and installers. For project managers, a decrease of 6% for the year is noted, while for design engineers, an increase of 36%.

Salary growth in Kharkiv is uneven: it is most noticeable in certain service and technical professions. On a nationwide level, working professions more frequently make it into the list of high-paying and in-demand jobs — this is evidenced by the data on the labor shortage.
