According to Главком: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated the need to improve the quality of the basic training for military personnel and to increase the number of instructors. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed the transition to a corps structure at the end of last year, which became an important stage in the reform of the army. In this regard, the General Staff will conduct an inspection concerning the basic general military training.

Improving the Training Process

In order to enhance the training process, the number of instructors in training centers has been increased by 13%. Oleksandr Syrsky emphasized the importance of involving qualified instructors, stating:

'We must train and involve more qualified, truly professional instructors with practical combat experience' - Oleksandr Syrsky.

This step is significant in enhancing the efficiency of training military personnel.

The basic general military training (BGMT) is deployed in the units of combat brigades, which will also contribute to improving the training of personnel. According to Oleksandr Syrsky's assessment, these changes are 'a significant step forward', which will allow for the enhancement of professionalism among military personnel in Ukraine.

These initiatives reflect the focus of the Ukrainian military command on increasing the army's combat readiness in the face of modern challenges. Changes in the structure and training of military personnel may have a significant impact on the effective execution of combat tasks, especially in situations that require rapid response and high qualification of personnel. This also underscores the importance of continuous development and adaptation of the army to the new conditions of warfare.
