The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the need for changes to the basic defense documents of Ukraine. As part of these changes, he agreed with Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on the preparation of relevant proposals. Zelensky emphasized that it is already time to change the basic defense documents of Ukraine, particularly the state defense plan. In this context, he noted that the government and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are providing the necessary funding for the procurement of modern military means. In particular, it was announced that funding for the next monthly tranche of subsidies for combat brigades in the amount of 4.3 billion UAH has been allocated. Additionally, 8 billion UAH has been directed to fund the drone line.
