The decision was made during his official visit to Romania, where several bilateral documents aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries were also signed. Romanian Language Day will be observed every year on August 31, with the goal of fostering mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation in Ukrainian-Romanian relations.

- a joint declaration on strategic partnership;
- framework agreements for cooperation in the energy sector;
- a joint statement on co-production of defense equipment.
