According to hvylya.net: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the military and the Minister of Defense as part of preparations for new negotiations in Europe. The head of state announced the expansion of domestic drone production and strengthening countermeasures against Russian attacks.

'There will be more of our own production,' Zelensky stated, emphasizing the priority of drones, interceptor drones, and unmanned aerial vehicles for long-range strikes. The president noted the importance of actively developing the interceptor direction in response to Russia's plans to increase the number of drones in strikes against Ukraine.

According to the president, all issues regarding orders, contracts, and the full capabilities of Ukrainian production were discussed today. Zelensky plans to discuss new investments in Ukrainian weapons with partners during the upcoming negotiations.

Strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia

The president emphasized the continuation of work with international partners on new sanctions against Russia. 'For almost six months, Putin has stolen from diplomacy-and another six months on top of all the time of this war,' Zelensky stated.

Preparations for new sanctions measures continue with the participation of the USA, Europe, and the G7 countries. Synchronization of Ukrainian sanctions with international partners' decisions through the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is also planned.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of expanding drone production for strategic purposes and increasing sanctions pressure on Russia together with international partners.
