According to hvylya.net: President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the information about the death of former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy in Lviv. The head of state published a statement on social media after receiving reports from Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka.

'The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko and Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka have just reported on the first known circumstances of the horrific murder in Lviv. Andriy Parubiy has died. My condolences to the family and friends. All necessary forces and means have been engaged in the investigation and search for the killer,' the president wrote.

Circumstances of the murder

Let us recall that initially, the National Police reported a shooting in the Sykhiv district of Lviv around noon, but it later became clear that the crime occurred on Yefremova Street, 42 in the Frankivsk district. According to clarified data, the murder took place at 12:10.

According to journalists, Parubiy was shot eight times. The attacker was dressed like a courier from the Glovo delivery service - in a black-yellow helmet, riding an electric bicycle. After firing, the killer hid the gun in a bag and left the crime scene. At the scene, law enforcement officers found seven shells.
