The talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and American leader Donald Trump at the White House yielded no results regarding the supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president left Washington without the agreements he was counting on. Despite the warm start to the meeting... Tomahawk missiles could expedite the end of the war and force Russia to come to the negotiating table

Trump refused to supply weapons, citing the needs of U.S. self-defense. The recent conversation between Trump and Putin, during which Putin stated that supplying missiles to Ukraine would change nothing on the battlefield, complicated the meetings.

The necessity of Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine

Analysts believe that Tomahawk missiles could significantly damage Russian military infrastructure by destroying strategic sites, but after the negotiations, the issue remains unresolved. According to Zelensky, President Trump did not make a clear decision after the meeting.

Zelensky also stated that Ukraine will receive the Patriot air defense system.

In the negotiations between the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents, no agreement was reached regarding the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. Trump rejected this idea, citing his country's own defensive needs, which complicated the negotiating process.
