According to hvylya.net: In the next October, Ukrainians will notice that the costs of vegetables are increasing. According to experts, prices will rise by 5-6 hryvnias per kilogram. The director general of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Pavlo Koval, reported that carrots, beets, onions, cabbage, and garlic will become more expensive due to the prolonged drought in some regions of the country. The specialist advises to stock up on vegetables for winter right now, as prices may continue to rise.
Currently, farmers have 'dumped' all their stocks and assortment onto the market. Therefore, consumers have a chance to buy vegetables at a low price.
Thus, due to the negative impact of drought on the yield of vegetables, Ukrainians are advised to purchase the necessary products in advance to avoid expenses in the future.
