СБУ створила чатбот для протидії російським спецслужбам
SBU has launched a special chatbot called "Spaly FSBeshnyk" in order to collect information about attempts of recruitment by Russian special services. This was reported by the SBU press service.
The chatbot was created on Telegram, as law enforcement agencies note that this network is often used by the enemy to recruit Ukrainian citizens, especially youth and minors, for arson attacks on military vehicles, TC buildings, mine placements, various diversions, and terrorist acts.
"We guarantee the confidentiality of providing information. Each message will be carefully processed by our employees," the message said.
SBU reminds that arson attacks on military vehicles, TC buildings, and other buildings, as well as planting explosive devices, are criminal offenses that are severely punished, even for minors. Committing sabotage (Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and terrorism (Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) entail criminal liability and imprisonment for up to 10 years. This provision applies to citizens aged 14 and above.
"Carrying out orders of Russian special services is work in the interests of the enemy, who is currently trying to destroy Ukraine. Such actions guarantee not money, but a real prison term," the law enforcement officials add.
Earlier, police recorded more than 200 cases of arson attacks on military vehicles, about a quarter of which were committed by minors.
Previously, the Security Service and the National Police detained two local residents, aged 15 and 18, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who committed a series of arson attacks on vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
By the way, since the beginning of 2024, 18 criminal offenses related to arson attacks on military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, relay cabinets on railway tracks, and the placement of explosive devices with striking components have been recorded in the Kyiv region. This is twice as much as compared to last year.
