Pokrovsk Sector Sees Heaviest Fighting: 236 Combat Clashes in a Single Day

According to Главком: On July 4, the front line recorded 236 combat engagements. The invading forces launched one missile strike using two rockets, along with 58 airstrikes involving 173 guided aerial bombs. In the course of the fighting, the enemy deployed 6,008 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,837 artillery bombardments. The most intense activity was concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction, where the adversary launched 23 assaults.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 37 occupiers were eliminated and 8 were wounded. Ukrainian forces destroyed one artillery system, two vehicles, three pieces of specialized equipment, and three fuel and lubricant depots. Additionally, eight vehicles, one piece of specialized equipment, and 107 personnel shelters were damaged. Furthermore, 285 unmanned aerial vehicles were either destroyed or suppressed in this area.
Other Frontline Developments
The situation on other fronts remained tense. In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, there were two combat clashes, with the enemy conducting one airstrike, dropping one guided bomb, and carrying out 39 shelling attacks. On the South Slobozhansk axis, the adversary stormed positions seven times, while in the Lyman sector, five attempts to advance were repelled. In the Sloviansk direction, 23 enemy pushes were halted, and in the Kramatorsk sector, two attacks were recorded.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 14 enemy assaults were repelled, and in the Huliaipole area, 27 attacks were stopped. Meanwhile, in the Orikhiv direction, three attempts to advance were thwarted. The Kupiansk and Dnipro River sectors saw no offensive actions from the enemy.
On July 3, the front line experienced 225 combat engagements, with the Pokrovsk direction accounting for 17 enemy attacks. The overall situation remains difficult, with high-intensity fighting occurring across multiple sectors.
The current battlefield situation underscores sustained high tension, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction, which has seen the greatest enemy activity. Given the numerous assaults and the use of advanced technologies like kamikaze drones, the conflict appears to be escalating. This demands close attention from military leadership and the international community, as it could shape the trajectory of events in the region.
