November brought new prices: eggs, oil and butter have risen sharply
Supermarkets in Ukraine have raised prices on basic products such as eggs, butter, and sunflower oil. This can impact family budgets as these products have become more expensive in November.
For instance, the price for chicken eggs has increased the most. Now a pack of ten eggs costs from 77 to 130 hryvnias. The prices of sunflower oil and butter have also noticeably increased.
Compared to October, the prices for these products have significantly jumped.
Prices for dairy products have also changed. For example, 'Selyanske' butter now costs about 118 hryvnias, while 'Yagotynske' is 115 hryvnias for a 200-gram pack.
It was already anticipated that Ukrainians might witness a rise in prices, and now these forecasts have become a reality.
Ukrainians are noting the increase in prices for eggs, butter, and sunflower oil in supermarkets in November. The prices for these products have significantly risen compared to the previous month, which may considerably affect the purchasing power of Ukrainians.
