Neit Vens on the Russian mentality

According to glavcom.ua: American soldier Neit Vens, who joined the Ukrainian battalion 'Wolves Da Vinci', shared his observations regarding the behavior of Russians. According to the fighter, he had the opportunity to communicate with people who experienced Soviet control and draw certain conclusions about their mentality.

Neit Vens emphasizes that Russians can sound very friendly on one hand, but on the other hand, they will do everything possible to deceive. They will lie to achieve their goals, and words do not always correspond to their actions. Therefore, trusting them 100% is not safe.

Neit Vens came to Ukraine with a humanitarian mission in 2022 and participated in battles on the side of Ukrainian forces. Later, he went into civilian service, as being captured would be advantageous for the Russians, since his cousin is the Vice President of the USA.

It was previously reported that foreign fighters from various countries motivated by the desire to gain combat experience and money are preferred by the Ukrainian military.
