Electricity Consumption Restrictions in Ukraine
On November 26, electricity consumption restrictions will be implemented in Ukraine due to the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities. The restrictions will be in effect for 24 hours from 00:00 to 23:59. Hourly disconnection schedules will be implemented with volumes ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 shifts. Additionally, power limitation schedules have been introduced for industrial consumers.
'Ukrenergo' reported these restrictions on November 25, indicating the critical condition of Ukraine's energy system. In this regard, experts advise avoiding the simultaneous use of several powerful appliances during peak hours. Among the appliances that consume a significant amount of electricity are:
- electric stove (3.5-5 kW)
- air conditioner (2.5-3.2 kW)
- electric kettle and iron (2-2.5 kW each)
Ministry of Energy Recommendations
The Ministry of Energy recommends that Ukrainians install two-zone meters for more effective monitoring of consumption. In addition, experts advise having a basic home kit in case of prolonged outages. This kit may include:
- radio receiver
- flashlights
- stash of matches
- candles
- charged power bank
- weekly supply of drinking water
- canned goods or freeze-dried food
- first aid kit
Thus, Ukrainians should be prepared for possible power outages and follow recommendations to mitigate the negative impact of restrictions.
These restrictions are part of overall measures aimed at ensuring the stability of Ukraine's energy system amid military actions and constant attacks on infrastructure.

It is important that Ukrainian consumers receive recommendations from specialists on the rational use of electricity, which will help reduce the load on the energy system. Preparation for possible outages also indicates the need for the population to adapt to new living conditions amid war.
