Yuriy Sadovyi was born in Lviv on July 26, 1973. He attended School No. 73 in Lviv and later graduated from the Lviv Higher Vocational Polytechnic College, qualifying as a milling machine operator. Following his studies, he worked at the 'Polyaron' Research and Production Company and at the Lviv branch of the 'Nova Poshta' delivery service.
When Russia's full-scale invasion began, he chose to defend Ukraine and joined the Armed Forces. He served as part of the 105th Border Detachment named after Prince Volodymyr the Great of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. For his dedication and heroism, Yuriy Sadovyi was awarded the 'Golden Cross' by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the 'Defender of Ukraine' medal from the Ministry of Defense.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, mother, and brother, who mourn his loss. His death is a profound tragedy for his family and community.
