According to glavcom.ua: The government has submitted proposals to the National Security and Defense Council regarding the imposition of personal sanctions against Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Tsukerman, who appeared in NABU recordings about corruption in the energy sector. Both of these men belong to a criminal organization that influenced the activities of strategic enterprises.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko supported the initiative to dismiss Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk. Both ministers have submitted their resignation letters. The Verkhovna Rada is already considering this issue. It should be noted that Halushchenko and Hrynchuk found themselves at the center of the scandal surrounding NABU, but refuse to admit their guilt.

Arrest of participants in corruption scandals

The High Anti-Corruption Court has decided to arrest the executive director of security at 'Energoatom', Dmytro Basov, as well as business partner of Herman Halushchenko and advisor to Svitlana Hrynchuk, Ihor Myroniuk. In addition, measures have been taken against employees of the company Lesia Ustyimenko and Ihor Fursenko.

Support from Great Britain

Great Britain has allocated £13 million for the restoration of energy infrastructure in Ukraine. This aid has become necessary due to the threat voiced by Russian President Putin regarding the destruction of energy supplies in Ukraine. The funds will go towards repair work and assistance to residents affected by disconnections from heating and water.

Shelled in Kharkiv

Kharkiv has come under fire from the Russian army, which carried out three drone strikes on one of the city's districts. This resulted in injuries to five people, four of whom were hospitalized. Businesses and residential buildings were also damaged. The situation remains tense.
