According to glavcom.ua: In Polish Silesia, competitions in women's high jump took place, which became the ninth stage of the Diamond League season 2025. World record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Kateryna Tabashnyk from Ukraine participated, as well as eight other athletes.

After four victories this season, Mahuchikh did not make it to the prize places in London for the first time in three years. Tabashnyk competed at the Diamond League stage for the first time in a year, while Yuliya Levchenko was unable to participate, even though she was previously announced.

«I consider this a special day since we jumped here. I really liked the atmosphere, the people, and a lot of Polish fans, as well as Ukrainians came to support me - even a fan from Japan. I really enjoyed it», Mahuchikh noted.

As a result of the competition, Yaroslava Mahuchikh won by clearing a height of 2.00 meters. The second place was taken by Nicola Olyslaagers from Australia, and the third by German Imke Onnen.
