Weather for the Weekend: Rain and Fog to Arrive in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has published a detailed weather forecast for the weekend of November 8-10. Weather conditions in the country will vary over the three days.

On Friday, November 8, the weather will be dry in most of Ukraine due to high pressure. The only exceptions will be Transcarpathia and the Carpathians, where an atmospheric front will become active. The next day, November 9, this front will extend its influence to the Right Bank. By November 10, it will bring light rain to most regions at night, while during the day, moderate rain is expected in Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.

Meteorologists warn of fluctuations in atmospheric pressure over the weekend. High humidity combined with light winds will promote the formation of fog in various regions of the country.

Temperatures will remain comfortable due to a warm air mass over Ukraine. Night temperatures will range from 1 to 9° Celsius, and on November 10, the temperature in the south of the country will warm up to 12°. During the day, thermometers will show from 8 to 13°, and in the southern part of the country up to 16°.

Weather Forecast for Kyiv Region and the Capital

For the Kyiv region and the capital, forecasters predict cloudy weather with clear spells on Friday, November 8, with no precipitation. The wind will blow from the southeast at a speed of 5-10 m/s. Night temperatures will be 1-6° Celsius, and during the day 8-13°. In Kyiv, at night it will be around 4-6° Celsius, and during the day up to 10°.
