Hero Oleg Kuz, who died for Ukraine: the life story and feat of the defender
According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Oleg Kuz.
Oleg Kuz was born on August 8, 1971, in Lviv. He studied at Lyceum No. 46 named after Vyacheslav Chornovil and at the Vasyl Symonenko Lyceum of the Lviv City Council. After military service, he worked as a driver and had his own shoe-making business.
According to family members, Oleg Kuz was multifaceted: he was passionate about cooking, refined all his skills, was brave, sincere, and had many friends.
During the war, he served in various brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, protecting the territorial integrity of the country.
Honored for his participation in the struggle with medals and awards, Oleg Kuz was buried in his hometown cemetery on August 14, leaving behind two daughters, a wife, and a sister with her family.
The editor-in-chief of 'Glavkom' also expressed his devotion to the memory of the fallen: 'We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the fight for the Motherland...'
