According to glavcom.ua: The British Ministry of Defence has estimated that Russian troops will need about 4.4 years to capture four Ukrainian regions. The Chief Commander disseminated this information, citing the UK Ministry of Defence.

The conclusions are based on Putin's demand to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions, as well as forecasts regarding potential Russian losses. It is projected that the conflict could result in over 1.9 million casualties among Russian military personnel.

This figure adds to the overall losses of Russia. It is estimated that since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 1.06 million people, including 250 thousand dead or missing.

In September 2022, Russia annexed four Ukrainian regions, which provoked outrage from the international community and a conflict with Moscow. This violated the principle of official recognition of Ukraine's independence following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Trump and Putin's Political Moves

The meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska sparked much discussion. According to John Bolton, in this exchange, Putin won, while Trump received nothing but promises of new meetings.

The political analyst emphasized that Putin's main goal was to restore relations, which is why he made considerable efforts in this direction.

The message discusses the British Ministry of Defence's calculations regarding the timeline for potential Russian military capture of Ukrainian regions, as well as the international community's opposition to Russia regarding the annexation of four Ukrainian regions. It also mentions the involvement of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in a meeting in Alaska and their political behavior.
