According to Главком: As of June 5, 2026, fuel prices in Ukraine have been refreshed. The average cost of A-95 gasoline is 76.70 UAH per liter, while diesel stands at 86.84 UAH per liter. The most expensive gas station chains remain OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR, whereas the lowest prices are offered by Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta. Notably, the UPG network reduced prices on all fuel types by 1 UAH, and the OKKO and WOG chains cut gas prices by 1 UAH as well.

Average Fuel Prices and Cashback Program

On June 4, 2026, average fuel prices across various gas station networks were as follows:

  • UPG: A-95 at 74.40 UAH
  • OKKO: 79.90 UAH
  • WOG: 79.90 UAH
  • KLO: 73.90 UAH
  • SOCAR: 79.90 UAH
  • Ukrnafta: 74.90 UAH
  • BRSM-Nafta: 73.99 UAH

Diesel prices in Ukraine have surged by 33.9%.

A cashback program running from March 20 to May 31, 2026, benefited 2.3 million Ukrainians. The cashback rates were 15% on diesel, 10% on gasoline, and 5% on autogas. In March 2026, fuel supply volumes remained at 2025 levels, yet from February 26 to March 31, diesel prices according to Platts statistics rose by 86%, and import prices increased by 58%. Over the same period, gas station prices climbed by 39%, while average gasoline prices went up by 16%.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Antimonopoly Committee, noted that 85% of light petroleum products in Ukraine depend on imports. He also emphasized that a key objective factor driving price increases is the shutdown of the country's largest oil refinery.

“At the same time, average prices at gas stations in Ukraine rose more slowly-gasoline by 16%, diesel by 39%,” said Pavlo Kyrylenko.

The Antimonopoly Committee sees no monopolistic actions in the fuel market, indicating no threats from major market players. The rise in fuel prices stems from several factors, including:

  • growing demand combined with reduced supply and inventory levels;
  • higher logistics costs;
  • inability to compare storage conditions and volumes of fuel within Ukraine.

This update on Ukrainian fuel prices reflects a challenging market situation where rising demand meets supply constraints due to the halt of a key refinery. Given the market's reliance on imports, further shifts in the global economy and pricing policies could significantly impact fuel costs in Ukraine. Consumers, adapting to new price realities, continue seeking ways to save, including through cashback programs that help lower fuel expenses.
