Generation Z prefers in-person meetings

According to glavcom.ua: Young people of today, labeled as Generation Z, have shown a significant interest in in-person meetings as a key element for developing their relationships and careers. This conclusion can be drawn based on new research from Freeman, a company specializing in event management, in collaboration with The Harris Poll.

The research showed that live events are the ideal place for developing professional skills and confidence for representatives of Generation Z. 91% of young professionals consider in-person events one of the best ways to enrich their social and interpersonal competencies. Moreover, 89% agree that relationships established at offline events are crucial for achieving professional goals.

According to the research, 86% of Generation Z expressed a desire to see increased spending on live events within companies. At the same time, the development of technology has led to a feeling of alienation among 69% of respondents from colleagues in their field.

'This report shatters the myth that Generation Z prefers only digital communication. They are drawn to live events as an effective tool for developing business relationships, advancing careers, and boosting self-confidence.'

Young people are actively seeking opportunities to improve their communication skills and build professional connections. Dell urged event organizers and companies to adapt to these needs and create appropriate conditions for the development of Generation Z.
