According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian pilot Alexey Chizh shared his experience of being in Russian captivity after his helicopter was shot down. He revealed details about the conditions of detention, psychological pressure, and attempts at recruitment by the Russians.

Chizh mentioned that the captives were provided food under very limited conditions, with minimal time for eating, restricted access to information, and subjected to physical abuse.
Rehabilitation and return to service
After the prisoner exchange in April 2022, Alexey Chizh underwent rehabilitation and returned to service in the army aviation alongside Ivan Pepelyashko. Meanwhile, the recovery of another captive, Andrey Pereverzev, will take longer due to the consequences of beatings and psychological pressure in captivity.
