On September 2, 2024, the supervisory board of the state company NEC 'Ukrenergo' terminated the powers of chairman Volodymyr Kudrytskyi by mutual agreement. According to media reports, the reason for Kudrytskyi's resignation was unsatisfactory performance in constructing protective structures at the facilities of the state company.

In a comment on his dismissal, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi noted that the supervisory board's decision is not related to the topic of protecting energy facilities.
