The USA is developing a mass air defense missile for $500,000: project details

The US Air Force has begun creating a new air defense missile that will be affordable and mass-produced. The CAMP program aims to produce such missiles for less than 500,000 dollars, compared to existing models that are significantly more expensive.

The program is expected to produce between 1,000 and 3,500 missiles per year. It utilizes technologies that have already been applied in another project for Ukraine and includes various components from Zone 5 Technologies and CoAspire, with the average price of each missile being around 250,000 dollars.

The US has started creating a cheap and mass-produced air defense missile that will cost less than existing models. The program aims to produce a large number of missiles annually, which could significantly enhance the country's defense capabilities.
