The Danube Commission condemned Russia and created a Register of Losses from Aggression
According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Recently, the Danube Commission supported Ukraine's initiative to create a Register of Losses from Russian aggression. This decision was approved by the majority of participating countries, including Austria, Germany, Croatia, Moldova, Romania, and Slovakia.
“This is an important decision that strengthens support for Ukraine, allows for the documentation of losses, and restores justice for the Danube ports affected by Russian aggression. We are grateful to our international partners for their solidarity and support on this issue,” said Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Russian attacks on Ukrainian Danube ports damage port infrastructure, destroy vessels and cargo, and create threats to international logistics and shipping safety on the Danube. The creation of the Register is an important step in documenting these losses and establishing an international legal basis for holding the aggressor state accountable.
