Ukraine returned 205 people from captivity: details of the 69th exchange
As part of the 69th exchange with Russia, 185 military personnel and 20 civilians returned to Ukraine. Two of the soldiers who were exchanged will celebrate their birthdays at home tomorrow. This information was provided by

It is reported that nearly all the released individuals were in captivity since 2022. Among them are representatives of various military units, including the Navy, Ground Forces, Territorial Defense, Airborne Assault Forces, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service. Many of them are defenders of Mariupol. The oldest released soldier is 59 years old, and the youngest is 26 years old.
Return of illegally detained civilians
In addition, it was possible to bring back civilians who were illegally detained at the beginning of the invasion. Many of these individuals were taken from their homes by the occupiers. The youngest released civilian is 25 years old, and the oldest is 60 years old.
As a result of the 69th prisoner exchange, nearly 200 individuals were freed. This will allow them to resume normal life after the severe trials in captivity. It is also important that the returned citizens can reunite with their families and friends who have been waiting for their return.
