Ukraine's Energy System Under Load: Where Power Outages Are Implemented
Ukrenergo reported that due to the difficult situation in the energy system, several regions of Ukraine experienced hourly power outages. Weather conditions also led to the de-energization of 54 settlements. Authorities urged people to conserve electricity and refrain from using high-powered devices after 10:00 PM.
'As a result of Russian strikes on the energy system, there are currently de-energized consumers in some regions. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore stable energy supply for everyone. Emergency recovery works are ongoing in all zones where the networks are damaged,' Ukrainenergo reported.
Also, as a result of the Russian shelling, electricity disconnection schedules have been introduced. Restrictions will be lifted after the situation normalizes. Limitation schedules will continue for industrial consumers in certain areas.
Electricity consumption remains at a high level, the message notes. Currently, in case of restrictions and bad weather, considerate use of electricity is recommended.
Due to bad weather, 54 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region have been de-energized, and in Kyiv region, stabilization disconnection schedules are already being implemented. Additional information about changes is being promptly sent to the company's Telegram channel.
