'Global forecasting centers predict that this winter will be 1-2 degrees warmer than usual. The probability of this is 70-80%', - said the forecaster.

Due to global warming, there is a noticeable increase in temperatures during winter in Ukraine. Frosts are becoming rarer, and the average temperature continues to rise. The lowest temperatures are expected in the north, east, and in the Carpathians, while it will be warmer in the south.

According to forecasts, December will be warmer, especially in the south and in Transcarpathia. January will remain cold but with a rise in temperature. There may be brief Arctic invasions, but with little probability.

'This winter will be wet and unstable, which may lead to heavy snowfalls, rains, icing, and fog. Especially in February, powerful southern cyclones with heavy precipitation are possible,' - warned the expert.
