The head of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that a mechanism for reparations loans for Ukraine is being developed in accordance with international law. She made this statement during a meeting with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa.

'We had a fruitful discussion on the reparations loan, which will be financed by frozen Russian assets, and this allowed us to identify points that still need to be clarified. And then we will, in fact, return with various options that we will develop,'
