According to him, 'The behavior of household consumers affects the balance of the power grid, as the population is the main consumer of electricity in the country.'

Zaychenko urged residents of the country to be more cautious – to turn off powerful devices during peak hours, avoid simultaneous use of energy-intensive appliances, and switch to more energy-efficient light sources. This will help reduce the load on the energy system and make it more resilient.

According to forecasts from 'Ukrenergo', heating supply will soon be restored across the entire territory of Ukraine, which will help reduce peak loads due to decreased demand for electric heating.
