A man hiding in a truck full of diapers was found at the border with Turkey
According to glavcom.ua: In Bukovina at the 'Porubne - Siret' border crossing, customs workers found a man inside a truck filled with diapers. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to the State Customs Service.
According to customs information, the truck was traveling from Turkey to Ukraine. During a routine inspection, the man was not noticed, but during the scanning of the truck, a shape resembling a person was detected on the computer monitor.
When customs officers and border guards peeked into the vehicle, they discovered a man, presumably a citizen of Syria, hidden among the diapers in the cargo area. The border guards are clarifying his purpose for crossing the border.
Additionally, border guards stopped a Mercedes, whose driver was a priest from a monastery in Transcarpathia. During the inspection, they found a man from Sumy, who was hidden under robes in the back seat.
Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police Denis Lysenko noted that requests for illegal border crossing are becoming more frequent, and that 'passing' across the border illegally is becoming increasingly expensive. Currently, the price for illegal exit from Ukraine through unofficial crossings ranges from $10,000 to $20,000 per person.

This is just one of the cases of illegal border crossing attempts, which are becoming more and more common in Ukraine.
