AGIBOT Robots in Action

According to НВ — Техно: On June 29 at 8:00 PM, Chinese company AGIBOT wrapped up a six-day live demonstration of humanoid robots at the Longcheer Technology electronics factory in Nanchang. During this period, the robots handled tablet quality control tasks, achieving an impressive 99.99% success rate. A total of 17,625 tablets were produced, highlighting the effectiveness of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. This event underscores how robotics is reshaping industrial production in China.

The demonstration took place on a production line where the robots were assigned to the quality control section for tablets. Over six days of live streaming, the humanoids logged more than 64 hours of work, completing 64,828 tasks across over four distinct workflows. This marks a significant leap in automation, with potential implications for large-scale industrialization and efficiency improvements worldwide.

Launch of New Robots

AGIBOT also announced the rollout of its 15,000th robot, the AGIBOT G2-a wheeled mobile manipulator featuring a humanoid upper body-which has been handed over to manufacturing partner Longcheer. Previously, it took the company roughly a year to scale production from 1,000 to 5,000 units, but the jump from 5,000 to 10,000 units took just three months. AGIBOT claims a 39% share of the global humanoid robot market.

“By deploying several humanoid robots on a real production line and making the process visible for six consecutive days, we aimed to provide a clearer answer to what industrialization truly needs from embodied AI,” said Yao Maoqing, a representative of AGIBOT.

These achievements showcase the potential of robotics to boost productivity and product quality in manufacturing environments.

The results of the AGIBOT demonstration point to automation's growing role in production processes, which could become a key factor for business competitiveness in today's economy. Implementing such technologies may not only enhance product quality but also reduce manufacturing costs, driving higher efficiency. In an era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, these innovations could shape the future of the entire industry.

The advancements in robotic technology are evident not only in tablet manufacturing but also in the automotive industry, where humanoid robots are making their mark.
