citing Ukraine WOW.
The event organizers believe that this event is significant because for centuries Russia has tried to forget hetman Mazepa and his contribution to history. Now he finally receives the deserved recognition at the international level – as a hero who fought for the sovereignty and freedom of Ukraine.
At the opening of the sword exhibition at the Tower, the famous actor, writer, and supporter of Ukraine Stephen Fry was present, which added additional attention and significance to the event.
It is also worth noting that earlier Oleksandr Usyk presented a copy of the panel by Alla Horska 'Boryviter' in London. This happened on July 14, when the heavyweight champion of WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO Oleksandr Usyk showcased the reproduced mosaic 'Boryviter' in Trafalgar Square.
These two events confirm the growing interest in Ukrainian culture and history in London and around the world.
