Frontline Situation as of July 23. Summary of the General Staff

According to glavcom.ua: As of July 23 at 22:00, 124 combat clashes were recorded, during which Ukrainian troops are focusing efforts on thwarting the advance of Russian invaders and exhausting their combat potential, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian forces reported 47 airstrikes and the use of 1,174 kamikaze drones on the territory of our country. The enemy also carried out 4,237 shelling of positions and populated areas of Ukrainian troops.

News of the War in Ukraine

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 36 attacks, trying to advance near numerous populated areas. Currently, four clashes are ongoing.

In the South Slobozhansk direction

In the areas of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and Dvorichne, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops six times, with three hostilities still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction

In the areas of Stepova Novosilkivka, Boryvskaya Andreevka, Zahryzovoe, and Novoplatonivka, the enemy conducted six attacks, with two battles still continuing.

In the Lyman direction

The defenders stopped 13 attacks in the areas of the populated points of Hrekivka, Zelony Hai, Sredne, Shandryholove, and others. Reporting is ongoing for seven more assaults.

In the Northern direction

The enemy attempted three offensives near Hryhorivka, with one attack still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction

Two attempts to advance towards Stupochky and Belya Hora were stopped by our troops.

In the Toretsk direction

The occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders twice. The defense forces repelled one attack and continue to fight now.

In the Novopavlivka direction

Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks in the areas of the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Oleksandrivsk, Svobodne Pole, and others. Three clashes are still ongoing.
