The Ministry of Social Policy is preparing to increase salaries for social workers: details of the new reform

The Ministry of Social Policy is actively working on a new payment algorithm for social workers. Deputy Minister Tetiana Kyriienko noted that the department is carefully listening to the opinions and needs of specialists in this field to address this issue.

'Together with the minister and other deputies, we often travel for business visits to the regions, where we have repeatedly discussed this issue with social workers on the ground. We hear this need,' she emphasized.

In addition, a salary increase for social workers is planned, particularly for those working in boarding institutions. The relevant resolution is already being developed and will be ready soon.

The Department of Social Policy of the Ministry is actively working on improving working conditions for social workers, listening to their needs and preparing appropriate legislation.
