The Ministry of Justice published data on the number of marriages for the first half of the year

During the first half of 2025, more than 69 thousand marriages were registered in Ukraine, making it one of the most popular family events of the year. The division by regions is as follows: the highest number of marriages was in Dnipropetrovsk region – 5,795, followed by Lviv – 4,735, Kyiv – 4,163, and Odesa – 4,099. The Ministry of Justice is implementing new opportunities for newlyweds. It is now possible to get married remotely, which will simplify and speed up the marriage registration process, especially in online format. Additionally, the Desnyansky District Court in the capital addressed the issue of actual marital relationships between two men, attracting public attention and becoming a topic of discussion against the backdrop of wedding news and statistics of registered marriages.
