Mobile Teams Deliver Passports and Services to Ukrainian Frontline Villages

Administrative Services for Residents of Frontline Areas

According to МВС: In a vital effort to support civilians affected by the ongoing conflict, mobile teams from Ukraine's State Migration Service (SMS) provided essential administrative services last week to residents of frontline settlements in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions. This initiative is designed to ease access to crucial documents in areas heavily impacted by the war.

During these field visits, specialists processed 20 applications for biometric documents. Two individuals took advantage of the opportunity to apply for two documents simultaneously. Furthermore, 10 ready-to-use passport documents were issued to citizens. The teams also provided 25 consultations on migration legislation, demonstrating the service's active engagement in these vulnerable regions.

This SMS program represents a critical step in ensuring administrative services for a population enduring the consequences of armed conflict. In wartime conditions, access to such services is often severely disrupted, and measures like these help safeguard the legal rights of citizens.
