According to glavcom.ua: Recently, Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, has drawn attention with their food preferences. According to a new survey, young people in the UK could lead to the disappearance of certain products, as they are rejecting them. This information is published by the Daily Mail citing 'Glavkom'.

During the study, 2,000 Britons were surveyed. The results showed that six out of ten respondents stated that they do not like certain products, even without ever trying them.

Top 10 products that Generation Z ignores:

  • Liver (35%): tops the list, more than a third of young people refuse it.
  • Blue cheese (32%): nearly a third of respondents do not wish to eat it.
  • Anchovies (30%): off the menu for 30% of this generation's representatives.
  • Blood sausage (29%): nearly a third avoid this product.
  • Shrimp (26%): a quarter of young people reject seafood.
  • Duck (25%): every fourth member of Generation Z does not consume it.
  • Tofu (23%): this plant-based product does not appeal to a quarter of respondents.
  • Mushrooms (23%): the same number of respondents avoid mushrooms.
  • Olives (23%): olives also did not make the list of favorite foods.
  • Plant-based cheese (21%): one-fifth of respondents are not ready to try plant-based cheese.

It should be noted that Zoomers have long stopped using the word 'hello' at the beginning of phone conversations. This has become a new norm of digital communication. Representatives of Generation Z or Zoomers are massively rejecting the traditional greeting at the beginning of phone conversations.

The trend of signing contracts and not showing up for work

A new trend among Generation Z in the labor market is accepting an employer's offer and refusing to show up for work on the first day. In the US, this issue is particularly acute, where 34% of Zoomers admitted that after accepting a job, they did not show up on the first day.

Generation Z is expressing their food preferences and attitude towards work, which may affect consumer market and companies' staffing policies. These trends should be considered for adaptation to changes in society and the economy.
