Unai Melgosa announced the squad of the Ukrainian youth national team for the Euro-2027 matches
According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian youth national team will play against Hungary on October 10 and against Croatia on October 14. In these matches, our team will be supported by 24 players.
The head coach of the Ukrainian youth national team, Unai Melgosa, announced the list of players who will prepare for the qualifying matches of Euro-2027 (U-21). This information was shared by UAF through 'Glavkom'.

Goalkeepers: Nazar Domchak ('Karpaty' Lviv), Ivan Pakholyuk ('Kolos' Kovalivka), Ilya Popovych ('Kishvarda', Hungary).
Defenders: Mykhailo Protasievych, Serhiy Korniychuk (both - 'Veres' Rivne), Ilya Krupskyi ('Metalist 1925' Kharkiv) and others.
Midfielders: Oleg Fedor, Roman Salenko, Artem Slesar (all - 'Zorya' Luhansk), Ivan Varfolomeev ('Lincoln City', England) and others.

Qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup
In the second round of the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team played to a draw with Azerbaijan 1:1. The goal for Ukraine was scored by Sudakov in the 51st minute.
The national team also suffered a defeat to France (0:2) in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup in Poland.
